“This is the most amazing, the most glorious, the most important miracle of all – the transformation of the human heart.”

Chapter 6, Page 58 –

Although we are unable to do, the presence of the Holy Spirit now brings the power to do. “But if the Spirit of Him which raised Jesus from the dead dwells in you, He who raised Christ Jesus from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies through His Spirit who indwells you” (Romans 8:11); “. . . the Spirit gives life” (2 Corinthians 3:6). That which we in our humanness are unable to do, the Spirit by His power enables us to do.

Like the crippled man on his pallet, lying at the feet of Jesus in our previous conversation, we are unable to “walk,” we are unable to be “pleasing” to God. But at the command of Jesus, by the power of the Spirit, in Faith in God’s promises, we attempt “to walk.” And to our utter amazement, we do. If you do not believe in a God of miracles, this interaction of Grace and Faith will not make any sense to you. But if you do believe in the God of miracles, then this is the most amazing, the most glorious, the most important miracle of all – the transformation of the human heart.
