Chapter 14, Page 143 –

This is the story I promised you, the story of Job – not the patience of Job, but the faith of Job. In the face of the worst calamities that the enemy could throw at him, Job’s faith stood like a rock.

Just so, the People of God must stand at the Time of the End – by their Faith. “Here is the perseverance of the saints who keep the commandments of God and their faith in Jesus” (Revelation 14:12). Keep in mind that with all of the terrible crises that will be raging in the world, the greatest crisis for the People of God will be the crisis of relationship. They will be struggling under the same duress as Job. 

Every support of an earthly nature will be gone. Schools and hospitals will be closed. Churches will be shuttered. Church Conferences and Unions will be shut down. You don’t think so? Whom do you think will be the first high profile targets of a crackdown on those who refuse to “worship the beast” and his image? (Revelation 13:12-15). Pastors, teachers, evangelists and church administrators will be the first ones to be removed.
