“Making disciples is the main task of the Remnant.”

TEXT:

Chapter 15, Page 151 –

I have much more to say about the “How” of being a disciple in our next conversation. Right now, I want to focus on Today’s topic, which is, the main task of the Remnant at the Time of the End. That main task is described in Matthew 28:19, which says, “Go therefore and . . .” (Are you following along in your Bible? I want you to see this for yourself. What does it say?)

In Greek, the word is matheteuo. The KJV Bible tries to define the word rather than just say what the word means. In most other translations the word is translated as “make disciples.” The main task of the church is to make disciples.

And Jesus says: “Go therefore and make disciples of all nations.”

Making disciples is the main task of the Remnant, the Seventh-day Adventist Church and specifically your local church. Bible scholars for centuries have called this the Great Commission. This is task Number 1. Actually, this is the only task God has given to His church. We are to make disciples.
