Chapter 7, Page 68 –

My first discovery from my Bible study was this:  The Ten Commandments and all other commandments are a description of who God is, the God who wants to be in a Covenant Grace-Faith Relationship with us.

Likewise, I discovered that the Ten Commandments are a description of what God desires our response to be to Him – and to His other creatures. As I have said before, God desires that we be “partakers of the divine nature” (2 Peter 1:4). Therefore, as an extension of His relationship with us, He wants the Ten Commandments to be a description of who we are as we reflect His character to the world.
